My name is Cairo.

I am a stay at home parent to a vibrant and carefree toddler. We live in New York, where we are accepted and free to be our most authentic selves! We stand for LGBT + rights, reproductive rights, neurodivergence acceptance and most of all, human rights. I also strongly believe that children are deserving of privacy! Therefore, photos from Little Brown Bat displaying our inventory, will always keep that in mind with fun and creative ways to keep children's faces hidden while still showcasing our clothing.

I have been creating digital art since 2019, and in my journey, fell in love with creating seamless files. I started Little Brown Bat with encouragement from some amazing friends who loved seeing my designs on mock-ups, for fun. After being introduced to the bamboo world and seeing how the soft material mesmerized my toddler, I knew it needed to happen! I wanted to see more clothes in different and unique styles that I loved while also remaining as comfortable as possible. Both my toddler and I are neurodiverse and have many sensory issues, and to be able to make clothing that not only makes us comfortable but also LOVE, is a big win for us! 

I aim to provide unique clothing thats sustainable, and sensory friendly, while also growing a loving and supportive community. We all deserve to feel stylish and comfortable without having to choose one over the other, so let us help!
